Inheriting, as the third generation, the famous shop “Mati” in Athinas str. in the centre of Athens, as well as her father’s studio, Rodi Konstantoglou continues the tradition that has enabled “Mati” and the name Konstantoglou to be the trademark of the authentic greek traditional art through a modern, creative spirit. The designer (who studied design in Parsons, New York and in St.Martins in London) constantly enriches the collection of decorative objects, lucky charms and jewelry with her own designs, that are handcrafted with traditional techniques by the artisans-contractors that collaborated with her father and are still alive, thus rediscovering and reshaping the greek handicraft tradition.
