Maria Tsimpiskaki was born in Rethymno, Crete, studied at the Athens University of Economics and Business and she has been involved in jewelry since 1990 after attending classes in painting, sculpture, design and jewelry making. She lives and works in Athens.
She perceives jewelry as a combination of lines, colors and materials that is the result of a certain emotional state. The goal of each piece of her jewelry is to be evenly and perfectly adapted to the anatomy of the body so that it becomes a necessary complement to the appearance and personality of the wearer.
She is a member of the international jewelry community klimt02, the Italian Association of Contemporary Jewelry AGC and Gioiellodentro. Her work is available in galleries, jewelry stores and exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
