Our products can be shipped anywhere in the world. The cost of shipping is calculated automatically, based on the weight and volume of your order. Below, you will find more information on the various shipping methods we offer and their associated cost.
Shipping
For deliveries within Greece, parcels are dispatched to the declared address via Geniki Taxydromiki Courier (www.taxydromiki.com) within 3-4 working days, subject to the immediate availability of the purchased item(s).
For deliveries abroad, parcels are sent with the Hellenic Post (ELTA) (www.elta.gr) via registered delivery, which includes a tracking option. Delivery times vary according to the country of destination. For member-states of the European Union, delivery times are estimated to 6-7 days, subject to the immediate availability of the item ordered. For the rest of the world, delivery times vary between 7 and 10 days, subject to immediate availability.
In case the requested item is not immediately available, we will get in touch with you to confirm the estimated date the item will become available, its exchange for another item or the cancellation of your order. Given that our products are hand-made the estimated time of availability is different for each item.
You are responsible for providing an accurate and valid delivery address. In case your address details change, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may direct your parcel to the correct address. In the event that you plan to be away from the address provided when the parcel arrives, please make sure that you get in touch with our partner courier company to re-schedule and confirm the delivery details. In all events, additional costs incurred due to failure to receive the parcel at the designated time and place are the responsibility of the recipient.
Shipping costs are not included in the prices shown on our e-shop and are the responsibility of the buyer, unless stated otherwise. Detailed information on the cost of shipping within Greece and abroad can be found in the section “Shipping costs” below.
The exact shipping cost applicable to your order is displayed once you finish your shopping by placing all desired items in your shopping basket and prior to finalising your order. Shipping costs may vary depending on the shipping address, and the volume and weight of your parcel.
Finally, we offer you the possibility to collect your order directly from our shop in Syros (10, Protopapadaki st. – Hermoupolis – tel. +30 2281084935), without shipping costs.
Shipping costs
GREECE
Orders over €200, within Greece, are delivered free of charge.
Shipping costs on orders under €200 are as follows:
For parcels up to 2kg* the cost of shipping amounts to €4 anywhere in Greece. For each additional kg, there is a fee of €1/kg.
If you choose to pay by Cash on Delivery, orders up to 2kg* carry a cost of €6. For each additional kg, there is a fee of €1/kg.
If you wish to receive your parcel on a Saturday, there is an additional fee of €3. If you wish to arrange for a morning delivery by 10:00am, there is an additional fee of €4. In both cases, please let us know in the “Order Notes” field once you complete your order, so that we may arrange this for you. The additional cost of Saturday and morning deliveries is not automatically calculated and the final fee payable will be made known to you once you complete your order and inform us of your requirements.
To collect your order directly from our shop in Syros (10, Protopapadaki st. – Hermoupolis – tel. +30 2281084935), you are not charged with shipping costs. Simply choose the option “Pickup in store” while compliting your order and we will have your order packed and ready for you to pick it up from our shop within five (5) days. After the five (5) days have passed your products will no longer be available.

ABROAD
Shipping costs abroad may vary depending on the country of delivery and the weight and volume of your parcel.* In all cases, shipping costs are calculated automatically and are made known to you upon completion of your purchases and prior to finalising your order.
* The weight of a parcel may be different to its volumetric equivalent, which will bear on shipping costs. This is because large items that are nonetheless lightweight are priced according to volume rather than weight.
NB: If the country of delivery is a member-state of the European Union, it is unlikely that there will be any further applicable charges or taxes. If, however, the country of delivery is not a member-state of the European Union, you may be called to pay customs and/or other charges imposed by the relevant authorities. Our website, velli.gr, has no means of checking or verifying these charges for you and is in no way liable for informing the customer of additional charges, if any. The business bears no responsibility for covering or refunding any such costs, for which the customer is the sole liable party.
Gift wrapping
If you wish to present a purchase you have made as a gift, we will be happy to gift-wrap it for you at no extra cost. Simply, let us know in the “Order Notes” field and you will receive it all wrapped up!
