A few words about the lamp:
The artist cultivates, processes and transforms pumpkins into sculptural objects and lamps, following the entire course of this humble plant, which in the past had a leading role in Greek rural life. He plants them, takes care of them, respectfully giving them the time they need to mature. Then another negotiation begins, when each pumpkin ‘tells’ her story, seducing her into fairy-tale worlds, where magical creatures, exotic birds, butterflies and flowers make their appearance. The result is unique lighting-works of art and sculptural objects, as for each work follows the shape and size of each pumpkin!
